For the first time this year, the Rencontres Exobiologiques pour Doctorants (RED’16) will be co-organized with the Erasmus + Strategic Parner “European Astrobiology Campus”. The official language of the school will be english.

This meeting is addressed to:

  • Any  student preparing his PhD thesis in Astronomy, Geology, Chemistry, Biology or History/Philosophy of sciences in France or any French speaking country.
  • Any European student, Master or PhD student, from the universities of Bordeaux (F), Open University (UK), Porto (P), Stockholm (S), Tartu (EE), Tallinn (EE), Utrecht (NL), Turku (F) and Iceland.
  • Any students wishing to acquire an interdisciplinary training in astrobiology to complete their initial training and to be able to address issues at the origins of life on Earth, its evolution and its distribution in the Universe. Students from a non french speaking country and not belonging to the EAC network Universities can attend, if available places remain, but will have to pay the full price of the school.

 

The program of RED’16/Astrobiology Introductory Course is complementary to that of RED’15, however it is not necessary to have followed it to participate in this new school.

The session-RED’16/Astrobiology Introductory Course will be held from 7 to 13 February 2016 in the Ornithological Park of le Teich (33, France).
